My Healing Journey
I always believed in love and all I wanted from the age of 19 was to find Mr. Right, get married, have kids, and own a nice home with a pool. Not much to ask for, but apparently it was! Every guy I was attracted to and had a relationship with had no time for me, my needs never mattered, it was all about his and his needs and as a people-pleaser, I lovingly complied. I thought that if I just showed these guys how much I loved them by doing everything for them, that they will notice and commit their undying love, loyalty, time and attention to me and we will live happily ever after. By the time I had several of these relationships and my marriage ended, I said to myself "I don't understand why this keeps happening to me. I'm an excellent wife and partner, would do anything for these guys and STILL they just expect it, don't care about my needs and act like spoilt pricks!" So I decided to get to the bottom of it all and I took 4 weeks off saying "with everything I know, this should not be happening to me and I want to FIX it". So, every day I used every process of self-awareness I knew, I meditated, journeyed, did art therapy, reflected and walked the medicine wheel, and it all came together for me to discover the root cause. I completed my healing and on the 29th day I met my now partner of 9 years who is completely different from all the rest. From this journey, this program was born.
